“I paint flowers so they will not die.”
— Frida Kahlo
Art has always been a way to capture feeling, preserve beauty, and give voice to experiences that words sometimes cannot express.”
A letter from The Everley
If you’re here, chances are you’re looking for a place where your child can feel inspired, supported, and free to create. That’s exactly why I created The Everley.
For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages as an educator and creative guide. I originally majored in Early Childhood Education, and over the years my passion has grown into building curriculum that is innovative, diverse, and responsive to the unique ways children learn and express themselves.
I currently hold and maintain a VPK Endorsed Director Credential as well as an Emergent Literacy Micro-Credential, which has shaped the way I approach teaching. My goal has always been to create learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence—not just teach a skill.
But the truth is, my connection to art goes far beyond the classroom.
Art has always been a place of healing for me. It has helped me process life, work through difficult moments, and reconnect with joy and imagination. Because of that, I deeply believe in the power of creativity—not just as something beautiful we make, but as something that helps us grow, reflect, and feel understood.
That belief is at the heart of The Everley.
Here, I strive to create safe, welcoming spaces where every child feels seen and valued, where curiosity is encouraged, and where exploration is just as important as the finished piece. Some students come because they already love art, and others come because they’re still discovering their voice—and both are equally welcome here.
In the studio, students explore painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, and creative experimentation. More importantly, they learn to take risks, trust their ideas, and build confidence in their creativity.
My hope is that when children leave the studio, they don’t just take home a piece of art—they take home a sense of pride in what they created and the freedom to keep exploring their imagination.
Thank you for trusting me with a small part of your child’s creative journey.

Studio Philosophy
Creativity Is the Cure !
At The Everley, we believe creativity is more than just making art—it’s a way to explore, heal, imagine, and grow.
When children are given space to explore their ideas, ask questions, and express themselves freely, something powerful happens. They gain confidence, curiosity, and the courage to try new things.
The Everley exists to be that kind of space—a colorful, welcoming environment where creativity, exploration, and imagination are always encouraged.
Children learn best when they feel safe to explore and try again.
At The Everley we value:
Curiosity
Creativity
Exploration
Confidence
Self-expression
Our space focus on gentle encouragement, we invite risk-taking, problem-solving, and joyful discovery. This builds resilience, imagination, and self-understanding. When creativity is nurtured, children see the world—and themselves—differently.
